ABOUT
Our Story
When Dave Whitman and Robert Jones founded Sunhillo Corporation in 1991, they did not create a business plan – they went right to work. Dave and Robert met at the company they worked for in Moorestown, NJ and decided to combine their expertise in radar surveillance technology. They formed a team dedicated to making the world a safer place to live through cutting-edge surveillance technology. After 6 months in business, Dave and Bob landed their first subcontract for IBM, to develop a radar interface for Taiwan. Bob has since retired but Dave is still CEO/President and Sunhillo has delivered surveillance data solutions to over 50 countries worldwide and almost every FAA Tower, TRACON, and En Route Center across the United States.
Sunhillo Corporation headquarters is located in West Berlin, NJ with a satellite office located in San Diego, CA and personnel located on-site at the FAA WJHTC. As an ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Certified company, Sunhillo has a reputation for reliable products and impeccable customer support. Sunhillo is currently working on or recently completed over 10 FAA programs, an Air Force and NASA program for advanced air mobility (AAM), and multiple US DoD deployments including mobile ADS-B receiving vehicles.
Sunhillo specializes in surveillance (radar/ADS-B/others) data acquisition, filtering, conversion, fusion, and distribution while maintaining mission-critical reliability and security. While connecting directly to the raw radar or an IP radar feed Sunhillo is able to process that data to the protocol and format that our Military and ATM customers require from around the globe.
