The European Union (EU) Regulation EC No 1907/2006 of December 18, 2006, concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) came into force on June 1, 2007. Sunhillo is a producer of articles as defined by the regulation. As a producer of articles, pre-registration/registration is not required.
Under REACH, substances of very high concern (SVHC) are identified in the current candidate list as published by the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) with the latest publication date of June 25, 2020.

This list will be updated with additional candidate substances approximately every six months.
Manufacturers of articles must identify the presence of any SVHC in their products in concentrations that exceed 0.1% by weight. Sunhillo has completed an evaluation of the candidate list and based on supplier data, asserts that no SVHC above the 0.1% limits exists in any of its supported products for any of the substances. The company will monitor the candidate list and procure supplier material declarations as needed to validate compliance.
Sunhillo is committed to compliance with REACH and all relevant international environmental regulations and will notify customers of the presence of a SVHC above the concentration limit. Also, the company will provide information regarding the safe use of the product as well as precautions necessary during repair or disposal of the product at end of life.
As a part of the company’s commitment to environmental, health, and safety management, the company monitors ongoing developments of REACH and all other relevant environmental regulations and will operate with due diligence to assure compliance.
