Provides Enhanced Situational Awareness

Track UAS without radar or ADS‑B

Accept & Decode 1090MHz ADS‑B & 978MHz UAT

Display Disparate Surveillance Sources including UAS and ADS‑B

UAS-C System Components

Provides a proprietary connection to the UAV Ground Control Station to receive the positional information and forwards the data to the UAS-C Gateway. Provides feed for UAS pilot See & Avoid Display.

Margate II ADS-B Receiver

Accepts and decodes ADS-B to track equipped aircraft and sends the data to the Brigantine SGP / UAS-C Gateway for display on the SMS.

UAS-C Gateway

Acts as the conduit to provide updated aircraft positions of all participating UAS-C units, Receives the ADS-B or optional Radar feeds, and processes them to the Surveillance Monitoring System (SMS) display. The Gateway then returns the fused surveillance data to the PIC for See & Avoid.

Situational Awareness display of radar, ADS-B, and UAS targets. Ownship moving map with boundary alerts, Geographic filtering, and Image overlays.

UAS-C System for Emergency Management

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) can be valuable tools in emergency response. They accelerate response and increase the safety of first responders and people in distress. With regulatory approval for routine BVLOS UAS operations in the National Airspace System (NAS) emerging as a near-term priority, the use of UAS in real world disaster response has become a real prospect.

Sunhillo’s UAS-C System was used in this Emergency Management UAS Operation Demonstration at Woodbine Airport in June of 2021 to track the UAS flying a 12 mile BVLOS mission, track the chase aircraft, and provide situational awareness of manned aircraft via ADS-B to the pilot and the command center.
